Appalachia Service Project Mission Trip
From Sun, Jul 14th at 12am to Sat, Jul 20th at 11:59pm

The Appalachia Service Project provides one of the most rewarding structured service opportunities in the nation — bringing thousands of volunteers from around the country to Central Appalachia to repair and replace homes for low-income families. Since 1969, ASP made homes warmer, safer, and drier for families and provided transformational service experiences for volunteers. This mission project is open to anyone who has completed grades 9 and above (high schoolers, college students, and adults). It costs $350, but scholarships are available. The church covers the cost of adults attending as sponsors or leaders. Anyone age 19 and over must complete and abide by Safe Gatherings. This is a focused service project where we provide repairs to one house with construction or painting projects. We will be serving around 8 hours a day, oftentimes outside, so flexibility is key!
