As Director of First Kids Early Childhood Center, Kerri leads the staff and programs to fulfill the mission: “in partnership with parents & guardians and First St Charles UMC, First Kids Early Childhood Center guides children to grow socially, academically, and spiritually in a safe, caring, structured Christian environment.” 

In January 2017, First UMC Preschool and Mother’s-Day-Out programs were merged into one large organization. At that time, Kerri Johnson was promoted to Director of First Kids Early Childhood Center. From October 1996 to January 2017, Kerri served as the Director of the Mother’s-Day-Out Program. Kerri is a graduate of the University of Central Missouri with a BA in Management & Accounting.

Kerri has been married to her husband, Bill, for over 25 years. She is the proud mother of two grown daughters. Kerri and her family are avid St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs fans, and they regularly attend games of both teams. Kerri also loves trying new restaurants and vacationing to the beach.
